I'm Amanda the Photographer

Hello there!

Born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina, I've always had a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of the Appalachian Mountains. As a passionate photographer, I find endless inspiration in the world around me, from vibrant wildflowers and wandering wildlife to the smallest details often overlooked.

Photography allows me to see the extraordinary in the ordinary, capturing the colors, textures, and quiet moments that make our world so remarkable. While nature is my greatest inspiration, I also enjoy capturing the authentic beauty of people and the connections that make us human.

Through my lens, I hope to inspire others to slow down, look a little closer, and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us every day. My photography is also available as artwork, whether it's a beautiful piece to display in your home or a personalized keepsake to treasure. I love the thought of sharing these captured moments with others, allowing a little piece of the world through my eyes to become part of theirs.

Very impressed with Amanda Fisher's work. I was looking for a nature print to put in my office and found the perfect long range mountain shot. I liked it so much, I had it enlarged to an 18" X 36" and it's hanging over my desk. I've also ordered the photo of the flower with a bee on it: great detail and composition. That one will go on another office wall. Beautiful pictures.

Prior to meeting Amanda, I did not have many photos of myself. I didn't enjoy posing, trying to figure out what colors to wear, or standing in the "right" lighting. So rather than suffer, I just stayed out of the photos. From our first photo session, I was hooked. I remember she asked us all to just hang out and be with one another. The moments that became memorialized in the photos had me gobsmacked. Amanda has this rare ability to capture the individual and the harmony in the moment so beautifully. She has been our go-to photographer ever since that first session. Thank you Amanda for sharing your gift with us. Every occasion has felt more complete with each of the harmonious moments you have captured.

Amanda is a joy and an amazing photographer who I cannot recommend highly enough! First off, she’s a total natural - she will capture the most balanced and breathtaking shot and make it seem completely effortless. She’s a wonderful combo of professional and light-hearted. She gave such great instructions for how to pose and positive feedback throughout the shoot that I never felt awkward or like “what do I do with my hands?” The entire experience was just delightful, and the photos I got back are STUNNING! I would recommend her anyone looking for a photographer, and I hope I get to work with her again soon!
